Events

The BCEE organises different events to support and foster academic research and networking in HWR Berlin and beyond. Among these, the BCEE Research Seminar is a forum to present and discuss research projects in progress. This seminar series is a platform to obtain feedback from peers at all career levels on on-going scientific work. The brown-bag seminar is held a few times per semester.

Another event the BCEE runs at irregular intervals is the Berlin Choice Colloquium which brings together researchers using discrete choice experiments and choice modelling as a technique to assess preferences and value (non-) market goods and services. Applications of these approaches span various fields, such as environmental management, labour economics, defence and peace economics and health economics, which is reflected in the contributions to the Colloquium.
